The College Station City Council conducted a full day of extensive discussions about the city's FY 26 proposed budget on Wednesday at City Hall. The proposal was presented to the council at a special meeting on July 7.

On Tuesday, the College Station Fire Department unveiled its two new state-of-the-art fire engines with a traditional "push-in" ceremony at Fire Station No. 2. The new engines represent a significant $2.2 million investment in the safety and well-being of College Station's residents and visitors.

The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board invites the community to attend the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Day observance on Thursday, July 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will feature open house tours of the 12-acre memorial site at College Station’s Veterans Park and Athletic Complex.
