The countdown is on! The 2026 Summer Games of Texas will return to premier sports venues across College Station and Bryan from July 30-Aug. 2. The 11-sport event is open to Texans of all ages and skill levels. Registration deadlines vary by sport.
Krenek Tap Road will be fully closed for most of Thursday between Dartmouth Street and Central Park Lane while contractors install a sewer line. Eastbound traffic should use Dartmouth to access SH 6. The road is expected to reopen by the end of the day. Starting Thursday, Central Park Lane will experience lane closures through Monday, June 22.
