City investigating water contamination at Fleet Services Building

An equipment malfunction at the City of College Station’s Fleet Services building on W. King Cole Drive led to potential internal water contamination Wednesday night. City officials have confirmed the public water supply was not impacted and remains safe.

The building’s lines have since been flushed and tested, and employees are being monitored as a precaution. The City is coordinating with the appropriate state agencies to ensure all safety protocols are met.
