Applications for Committees, Boards, and Commissions are open through December 31, 2026. The City Council will consider the applications and make appointments during the January 2027 regular meetings.

Sign Up for Committee, Board, and Commission 101

Committee, Board, and Commissions 101 is designed to help citizens better understand the requirements, duties, and limitations of serving on one of the city’s many meeting bodies. We will also cover the role of city staff, how these meeting bodies help with the important issues facing our city and answer your questions.
Our goal is to help potential applicants understand what’s expected if they are appointed.

If you are considering applying to serve, we invite you to attend the seminar on Monday, October 12, 2026, in the City Hall Bush 4141 Community Room. We will commence at 6 p.m. and aim to conclude by 7:30. The registration for the event ends Oct. 9 at 5 p.m.
