TXDOT public meeting about Harvey Road Coordinator Plan set for Tuesday
TxDOT will host its first public meeting about the State Highway 30 (Harvey Road) Corridor Plan on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Meyer Senior and Community Center. The meeting will be an open house with information boards and an opportunity to ask questions.

State Highway 6 to be closed briefly early Sunday
At 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, State Highway 6 and its access roads will be briefly closed in both directions between Southwest Parkway and Harvey Mitchell Parkway. The closure is expected to last no more than an hour as crews address conflicts with electric infrastructure related to TxDOT's SH6 widening project.

Upgraded play equipment coming to Castlegate, Merry Oaks, and Southern Oaks
Local kids will soon have more ways to climb, slide, and swing at Castlegate, Merry Oaks, and Southern Oaks parks after the College Station City Council unanimously approved upgrades this week. The improvements are expected to begin in late February or early March and be completed in April, weather permitting.
