In this week’s episode of "What's Up, College Station?,” Recreation Supervisor Laurie Brown discusses Monarch March and the butterfly migration, the benefits of native plants, and how to create butterfly gardens and pollinator waystations.

Starting Monday at 9 a.m., Graham Road will be closed between Birmingham Road and Dove Crossing Lane for about three weeks while the City’s contractor replaces a concrete storm sewer. Detours will be in place. Graham will also be closed east of Longmire Drive on Monday while crews complete utility work. That section of Graham will reopen Monday evening.

Starting Monday at 8 a.m., traffic on Krenek Tap Road will be one-way from Dartmouth Street to State Highway 6 for about four months as part of the roadway rehabilitation project.

In case you missed it: At its Feb. 26 meeting, the College Station City Council unanimously approved a Letter of Intent with The Station Hospitality and Athletic Complex regarding a baseball and softball facility in the Midtown Business Park to expand the City’s recreational and sports tourism offerings.

In case you missed it: At its Feb. 26 meeting, the College Station City Council reviewed the College Station Police Department’s recent operations and activities. Highlights in Police Chief Billy Couch’s presentation included a substantial reduction in crime across nearly all categories in 2025.
