Thousands pour into College Station-Bryan for Games of Texas Starting Thursday
Let the Games begin! The 2025 Texas Amateur Athletic Federation's Summer Games of Texas kicks off Thursday, July 31, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 3, at premier venues across College Station and Bryan.
The Olympic-style festival features nearly 8,000 amateur athletes of all ages. -

Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Celebrates 25th Anniversary on Thursday
The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board invites the community to attend the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Day observance on Thursday, July 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will feature open house tours of the 12-acre memorial site at College Station’s Veterans Park and Athletic Complex.
