This fall, treat yourself to a delicious meal from local food trucks at Food Truck Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. on select Wednesdays at the Wolf Pen Creek Festival Site. It all starts Sept. 10!

Connecting Parks, People, Possibilities is the overarching goal as the College Station Parks and Recreation Department updates our 10-year Master Plan. Residents are invited to share ideas and input at two Pop-Up in the Park events in September.

College Station Parks and Recreation is offering a new series of free birding classes this fall to introduce community members to the joys of birdwatching and encourage deeper connections with the birds of the Brazos Valley. Birding is for everyone!

Let the Games begin! The 2025 Texas Amateur Athletic Federation's Summer Games of Texas kicks off Thursday, July 31, and runs through Sunday, Aug. 3, at premier venues across College Station and Bryan. 
The Olympic-style festival features nearly 8,000 amateur athletes of all ages.

As the new school year approaches, parents and caregivers are exploring the best ways to support their children during the important hours after school. The College Station Parks and Recreation Department provides an affordable after-school program for children ages 6-15 at the Lincoln Recreation Center.

The Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Board invites the community to attend the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Day observance on Thursday, July 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will feature open house tours of the 12-acre memorial site at College Station’s Veterans Park and Athletic Complex.
