Overnight parking public meeting set for Tuesday at City Hall
The City will host a public meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at City Hall to gather input on potential overnight parking removal in single-family areas near the University, primarily in the Southside and Eastgate neighborhoods. The initiative aims to address excess parking in areas with unplanned overoccupancy or where the infrastructure was not designed to accommodate the density.
Staff will give a brief presentation, followed by breakout stations to address specific questions related to location, existing parking regulations, and enforcement. A digital survey will be available that evening to record additional feedback and will remain open for one week.
