Starting Monday at 9 a.m., Graham Road will be closed between Birmingham Road and Dove Crossing Lane for about three weeks while the City’s contractor replaces a concrete storm sewer. Detours will be in place. Graham will also be closed east of Longmire Drive on Monday while crews complete utility work. That section of Graham will reopen Monday evening.
Progress continues on Phase 2 of the Lincoln Avenue Rehabilitation Project, with sub-grade stabilization underway for Phase 2B from Monte Carlo to east of 1021 Lincoln Avenue. This phase is expected to be completed within three weeks.
On Saturday, the northbound lane of Marion Pugh will be closed from George Bush Drive to south of Luther Street as the first phase of the roadway rehabilitation begins. The Luther Street intersection will be closed. Construction on Phase One is expected to take about eight months.
On Monday, the City of College Station will begin Phase 2 of the William D. Fitch Parkway Rehabilitation project from Tonkaway Lake Drive to Rock Prairie Road. The project is expected to take about a year.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the City of College Station's new Parks Operations Shop is on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 11:30 a.m. at Stephen C. Beachy Central Park.
