Thinking of running for Council? Your roadmap begins with City Council 101

Serving on the College Station City Council is a significant commitment. Members devote countless hours to the community without compensation, often following demanding campaigns that require substantial time, energy, and financial resources.

The Mayor’s seat and City Council Places 1 and 2 will be on the ballot for the Nov. 3 general election. Each position carries a four-year term.

The free session begins at 6 p.m. in the Bush 4141 Community Room at City Hall. The class provides a comprehensive look at the realities of public service — with no obligation to run.
