Notice of FY 26 Budget public hearing

Copies of the proposed budget are available for review with the City Secretary of the City of College Station, at the Bob & Wanda Meyer Senior and Community Center, the Larry J. Ringer Library and on the City’s website at cstx.gov. The public is invited to review and make comments on the proposed budget. Comments may be presented in writing or in person at the public hearing or may be made in writing to be mailed or delivered to the City Manager, College Station City Hall, 1101 Texas Avenue, College Station, Texas, 77840, prior to the end of business on Wednesday, July 23.

THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR'S BUDGET BY $5,680,000 OR 7.7%, AND OF THAT AMOUNT, $2,000,000 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR.
