Krenek Tap to be closed from Dartmouth to Central Park Lane for two months

Starting Monday, Krenek Tap will be closed to through traffic from Dartmouth Street to Central Park Lane for about two months. Residents will have access, and detours will be in place.

Motorists are encouraged to drive cautiously through the area as crews install drainage infrastructure as part of the Krenek Tap Rehabilitation Project from Texas Avenue to State Highway 6. The work includes concrete pavement, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and shared-use paths.
