Council takes a closer look at budget during this week’s workshops

The College Station City Council completed the first of three scheduled days of extensive discussions on the city’s proposed FY 27 budget on Monday at City Hall. The proposal was initially presented to the City Council on July 6.
Monday's four-hour session covered policy and revenue sources, staffing, service level adjustments, the fund balance and forecasts, and capital appropriations. Tuesday's session begins at 1 p.m. and will cover funding requests from outside agencies.
