Starting Wednesday, Lincoln Avenue will be closed from Grand Oaks Circle to University Drive for the final phase of the roadway rehabilitation project. Completion is scheduled for late June. Lincoln will remain open from Grand Oaks to Texas Ave with intermittent, single-lane closures as work on the shared-use paths continues.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the City of College Station's new Little League and Senior League baseball and soccer buildings is Friday at 5 p.m. at Brian Bachmann Community Park. Approved by voters in the 2022 bond election, the new facilities feature expanded restrooms, concessions, and storage, as well as additional seating, dugouts, and spectator protective netting.
City of College Station offices and facilities will be closed Friday in observance of the Good Friday holiday. Sanitation and recycling collections will operate on the usual schedule. Closed facilities include the Southwood Community Center, Lincoln Recreation Center, Meyer Senior and Community Center, and the Lick Creek Nature Center. The Ringer Library will be closed Friday through Sunday.
College Station Utilities has earned the American Public Power Association’s Safety Award of Excellence for safe operating practices in 2025. CSU earned the Diamond award for utilities with 110,000–249,999 worker-hours of annual worker exposure.
The intersection of Stallings Drive and University Oaks is tentatively scheduled to reopen by mid-April after waterline repairs are completed.
Starting Monday at 9 a.m., Graham Road will be closed between Birmingham Road and Dove Crossing Lane for about three weeks while the City’s contractor replaces a concrete storm sewer. Detours will be in place. Graham will also be closed east of Longmire Drive on Monday while crews complete utility work. That section of Graham will reopen Monday evening.
Starting Monday at 8 a.m., traffic on Krenek Tap Road will be one-way from Dartmouth Street to State Highway 6 for about four months as part of the roadway rehabilitation project.

Lincoln Avenue will be closed from west of the Aloft Hotel to Grand Oaks Circle beginning Tuesday as Phase 2C of the Lincoln Avenue Rehabilitation Project begins. The Lincoln rehabilitation work is scheduled for completion in April.
Greens Prairie Road will be closed on Tuesday from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. between I&GN Road and Wellborn Road as Union Pacific crews finish the railroad crossing maintenance work that began last weekend. The recommended detour is I&GN Road to South Dowling Road.
