Applications have been extended for the following boards: the Architectural Advisory Committee, Construction Board of Adjustments, Design Review Board, Building and Construction Standards Commission, and Zoning Board of Adjustments. Applications will be accepted through 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12. Applicants must reside in and be registered to vote in College Station.

College Station Parks and Recreation is gearing up for a full slate of fall and winter programs for first-time athletes, seasoned players, and fans who prefer to watch. Programs are open to all skill levels, and you don’t have to live in College Station to register.
The Parks and Recreation Department invites you to explore the latest Recreation Connection, which is packed with programs and events for all ages and interests. The guide offers something for everyone, including youth sports, teen activities, adult programs, senior socials, and family-friendly fun.
College Station Parks and Recreation is offering a new series of free birding classes this fall to introduce community members to the joys of birdwatching and encourage deeper connections with the birds of the Brazos Valley. Birding is for everyone!
As the new school year approaches, parents and caregivers are exploring the best ways to support their children during the important hours after school. The College Station Parks and Recreation Department provides an affordable after-school program for children ages 6-15 at the Lincoln Recreation Center.
