Ready for splashing fun? College Station Parks and Recreation's free splash pads at the Fun for All Playground and W.A. Tarrow Park are open daily through Oct. 31, offering a cool way to enjoy interactive water features.

The fifth annual Nature Center Star Party is Friday, March 6, from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Gary Halter Nature Center. The free, family-friendly, come-and-go event features space-themed booths, hands-on activities, and guided stargazing designed to make astronomy accessible and engaging.

Starting Feb. 25, Food Truck Wednesday is back at College Station’s Wolf Pen Creek Festival Site from 6-9 p.m. on select Wednesdays through the end of May. Admission is free, and food will be available for purchase.

The College Station Parks and Recreation Department is offering residents an early holiday treat by distributing 1,450 free native trees on Friday, Dec. 12, at Veterans Park and Athletic Complex. The giveaway runs from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., or until supplies run out.
