The City of College Station uses a web-based system for submitting Projects, Permits and Licenses online called eTRAKiT. Most paper applications are no longer needed because all of the information can now be completed in eTRAKiT. Please refer to the submittal requirements to determine what other documents are required and need to be completed and attached as part of the application process in eTRAKiT. In addition to submitting and paying online, applicants can also access additional information on their projects, permits or licenses, including Review Comments, Inspections, Status, Fees Due, Approved Plans, among other documents and features.

Please NOTE: You must be a Registered User to submit applications in eTRAKiTPlease reference the following document to get registered: New Registered User Requirements. When logging in for the first time, you will be asked to input a security question, which will be used in the event you forget your password in the future.

The Planning and Development Services Department reviews TABC liquor permits to ensure they meet City requirements. Please submit your TABC packet to the City of College Station, 1101 Texas Avenue, College Station, 77840. Construction drawings must be scaled to 24"x36" with landscape orientation.
** Scanned documents must be 300dpi or higher for archival purposes.

Fee Schedule

Per Resolution: The development application and permit fees shall be adjusted annually based upon the Consumer Price Index published by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. Annual fee increases will take effect every Oct. 1.

Unified Development Ordinance
The Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) was adopted for the purpose of promoting the public health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of College Station. The UDO provides for the division of land into different districts, regulations pertaining to such districts, regulations for the subdivision of land, and drainage regulations pertaining to development. The UDO regulates land use and the division of land in accordance with the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan.

Site Design Standards
The purpose of the City of College Station Site Design Standards is to establish and provide the minimum standards to be adhered to in the design and construction of all commercial and multi-family private improvements. It is the intent to obtain high quality construction throughout, with the completed work complying with the Site Design Standards.

Building Codes
The City of College Station adopted the family of international Building Codes to regulate construction. A list of Adopted Amendments for each code are also provided for your convenience. Unified Development Ordinance

The Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) contains all development regulations in one document and includes regulations pertaining to zoning and use, platting, site plan development, and building permits. The UDO also includes an overview of the development review bodies, review procedures, zoning districts, use regulations, development standards, and non-conformities.

The Cities of College Station and Bryan now have a joint website to access the Bryan/College Station Unified Design Manual, Technical Specifications, & Standard Construction Details.
