Subpart B, Chapter 103, Article III, Division 2, Section 103-132 (14) - International Building Code amended

This ordinance provides addressing requirements for both commercial and residential properties. All commercial structures shall have street numbers on the face of the building and on any rear door. Residential properties are required to have numbers are on both sides of the mailbox or on a free standing structure.

UDO, Article 6, Section 12-6.5 - Accessory Uses

There are several types of legal home occupations. These include occupations that do not interfere with traffic flow, change the appearance of the dwelling, create a nuisance or be visible from the street. Examples of home occupations include telephone answering, child-care or bed-and-breakfast operations. More information can be found in the Unified Development Ordinance.

UDO, Article 7, Section 12-7.5 - Signs

The following signs are prohibited by this ordinance: portable and trailer, temporary freestanding, off-premise signage or rooftop signs. Inflated signs, banners, pennants, wind driven devices, tethered balloons and any gas filled object are restricted. Flags containing either copy or logos are also prohibited as well as flashing or blinking signs. More information can be found in the Unified Development Ordinance.

Subpart A, Chapter 38, Article III - Junked Vehicles

The term "junked vehicle" means any motor vehicle as defined in Texas Transportation Code ch. 683:

a. that is self-propelled; and

b. displays an expired license plate or invalid motor vehicle inspection certificate or does not display a license plate or motor vehicle inspection certificate; and

c. that is: 1) wrecked, dismantled, partially dismantled, or discarded, or 2) inoperable and has remained inoperable for more than 72 consecutive hours, if the vehicle is on public property; or 30 consecutive days, if the vehicle is on private property.

UDO, Article 11, Section 12-11.2 - Defined Terms

Any number of related persons, or not more than four persons, any one of whom is unrelated to another, living as a single housekeeping unit. Persons are related within the meaning of this definition if they are related by the second degree of consanguinity, affinity, legal guardianship, or qualified under chapter 123 of the Human Resources Code.

Subpart A, Chapter 26, Section 26-6 - Open Storage in Residential Areas

A person commits an offense if he allows the open storage of commodities and materials for sale, lease, inventory or private use in areas zoned as residential.

Subpart A, Chapter 38, Article II, Division 1, Section 38-43 - Parking, Standing or Storing of Recreational Vehicles, Trailers or Trucks in Residential Areas (b)(3 & 4)

It shall be unlawful for the owner, occupant or person in charge of property used for residential purposes to permit the parking, standing or storing of motor vehicles, excluding recreational vehicles on yards or lawns excluding driveways, paved parking areas, or areas screened from public view by fencing.

Subpart B, Chapter 103, Article II, Division 2, Section 103-131 - International Building Code adopted

This chapter includes concerns about exterior and interior maintenance requirements. The property maintenance codes are adopted from the 2015 International Property Maintenance Code.

Subpart A, Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-389 - Residential Collection Generally

Containers shall be removed from the designated pickup point and placed either adjacent to their dwelling or at a location designated by the City within twelve (12) hours of their scheduled pickup day.

Subpart A, Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-406 - Miscellaneous Prohibited Materials

No person shall dispose of or place for collection and disposal prohibited materials, as designated under any applicable Federal and State laws. Hazardous and/or prohibited waste shall not be placed in solid waste collection containers.

Subpart A, Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-405 - White Goods

Due to State and Federal regulations, City Sanitation crews cannot pick up items containing chlorinated fluorocarbons (CFCs).

Subpart A, Chapter 30, Article II, Section 30-23 - Weeds and Other Unsightly Vegetation Prohibited

This ordinance refers to objectionable or unsightly vegetation including weeds and grass that exceed 12" in height.

This chapter includes all issues relating to zoning definitions, districts and requirements. Boundaries, parking space requirements, landscaping, sign regulations, and permitting procedures are focused on in this chapter. Subpart A, Chapter 40, Article IV, Division 2, Section 40-403 - Tires

Due to State regulations, City Sanitation crews cannot pick up tires unless they have been quartered.
