Request a Proclamation

The mayor issues proclamations for special community events and significant achievements of local organizations and individuals in College Station. Proclamations are usually presented at city council meetings on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month. Request must be made at least two weeks in advance to have a presentation at a Council meeting. Additionally, for joint proclamations, it may take longer than two weeks.

Proclamations are not issued for profit-making activities or to promote specific religious beliefs, political candidates or political organizations. One proclamation is created, and duplicate originals are not offered. Read our proclamation policy to learn more.
