Park and Pavilion Rentals

Rentals are on a first-come, first-served basis and will not be held without proper documentation and fees. Reservations can be made by calling 979.764.3486 or by visiting Stephen C. Beachy Central Park Office, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Cash, credit card or check accepted. Checks should be made payable to “City of College Station.” Special requests should be placed when you make your reservation. City ordinances may prohibit approval of certain requests, such as dunking booths or campfires. If you are expecting a crowd larger than the capacity, let us know so arrangements can be made. Reservations must be made no later than seven days prior to the desired reservation date.

Reservations must be made no later than seven days prior to the desired reservation date.

A security deposit is required for rentals. Portions or all of the deposit will be forfeited if damage, extra maintenance, or extraordinary cleanup occurs as a result of rental. Deposits will be refunded on the following conditions: (1) terms of your rental have been met, (2) facilities are left in good condition, or (3) cancellation procedures have been followed.

Cancellation refunds more than 10 days: If the rental is cancelled, in writing, at least ten (10) days in advance of the originally scheduled date, a full refund of fees and deposits, including security deposit, will be returned to customer.

Cancellation refunds less than 10 days: If the rental is cancelled, in writing, less than ten (10) days but more than 48 hours in advance of the originally scheduled date, deposits, including security deposits, will be forfeited by the customer in favor of the City.

Cancellation refunds less than 48 hours: If the rental is cancelled, in writing, less than 48 hours in advance of the originally scheduled date, all fees and deposits, including security deposits, will be forfeited by the customer in favor of the City.

Cancellation due to inclement weather: At the sole discretion of the City, if the event cannot be held or rescheduled due to inclement weather, fees and deposits, including security deposit shall be refunded to customer.

Deposit refund post event: If the facility is left to standard and required keys (if applicable) are returned, the customer's deposit will be refunded.

All refunds are processed within 30 days of request by check. No cash refunds will be issued.

Staff will open the American Pavilion kitchen prior to reservation. Bachmann kitchen/restrooms and Central kitchen will require a key for access. Key pick-up and return will be arranged during your reservation. All keys will be picked-up and returned to the Stephen C. Beachy Central Park Office, Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Keys can be returned afterhours by placing them in the drop box located by the front door.

If you choose to forgo your pavilion rental due to severe weather, you are responsible for contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at 979.764.3486 the following business day. You can choose to reschedule your rental or fees can be refunded. Failure to notify staff by the end of the next business day will result in the loss of fees.

Park curfew is from 1-5 a.m. The pavilion should be clean, and you should be out of the park by 1 a.m. The curfew at Oaks Park is 11 p.m. The sale of any item in a city park requires a vendor’s permit, which can be obtained when you make the reservation. Alcohol may be consumed in city parks by adults 21 years of age and older. If alcohol is served, nothing can be sold without first obtaining a TABC license.
