Visitor Center Event Space at 1207 Texas Ave S.
Located within the Visitor Center in College Station, this facility offers a 5,000 square foot event space with a capacity of 354. Overlooking Texas A&M University and City Hall, it provides an ideal backdrop for your event. Rental of the space includes access to a large catering kitchen, outdoor plaza, and additional areas.

The three-floor, nearly 80,000-square-foot facility was dedicated on Dec. 7, 2021. The new City Hall has architectural features, finishes, and furnishings that link to College Station’s beginnings as a railroad depot and postal stop located next to the A&M College of Texas. Among the elements that will make our citizens’ experience easier are more city departments under a single roof, a large city council chamber that can accommodate nearly 200 people, and the 1,200-square-foot Bush 4141 Community Room that can be reserved for a variety of functions.

Our Visitors Center serves as a welcoming hub for tourists, prospective students, and locals alike. Reservation inquiries must be received at least 45 days prior to the event. Submission of this request form does not assure availability for the requested facility and date(s). Rentals are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and will not be reserved without proper documentation and payment of fees.

Rentals are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and will not be reserved without proper documentation and payment of fees. Reservations can be made by contacting 979.764.2625 or by visiting the Visitor Center office at 1207 Texas Ave S., Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Credit cards or checks are accepted, with checks payable to "City of College Station."
Deposits:
A security deposit is mandatory for rentals. Portions or all of the deposit may be forfeited in case of damage, additional maintenance, or extraordinary cleanup resulting from the rental. Deposits will be refunded under the following conditions: (1) fulfillment of rental terms, (2) leaving the facilities in satisfactory condition, or (3) compliance with cancellation procedures.
More than 10 days:
Full refunds of fees and deposits, including the security deposit, will be issued if the rental is canceled in writing at least ten (10) days prior to the scheduled date.
Less than 10 days but more than 48 hours:
If the cancellation is made in writing less than ten (10) days but more than 48 hours before the scheduled date, deposits, including the security deposit, will be forfeited to the City.
Less than 48 hours:
Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled date results in forfeiture of all fees and deposits, including the security deposit, to the City.
Inclement weather:
At the discretion of the City, if an event cannot proceed or be rescheduled due to inclement weather, fees and deposits, including the security deposit, will be refunded to the customer.
Post-event deposit refund:
Upon returning the facility to its standard condition and surrendering any required keys within 24 hours, the customer's deposit will be refunded.
All refunds are processed within 30 days of the request via check; cash refunds are not provided.
