Community Enhancement Unit

The College Station Police Department's Community Enhancement Unit (CEU) is a specialized unit within the department tasked with crime reduction, neighborhood integrity, public appearances, crime prevention, and education.

All personnel within this unit seek to build these relationships through neighborhood meetings, business partnerships, and community events. They seek to build these partnerships through neighborhood association meetings, block parties, business associations, youth groups, and senior citizen associations.

By engaging the community and involving citizens, our goal is to reduce crime, the fear of crime, build effective partnerships and improve the quality of life for the citizens of College Station.

To request CSPD participation in your community event, please submit a formal request using the link below. Provide a detailed description of your event to help us determine how we can best support the community. Examples of events attended by the Community Enhancement Unit (CEU) include community meetings, police vehicle demonstrations, meet‑and‑greets with children ages five and older, and safety or security presentations for organizations. CEU does not attend private birthday parties, private business events that are not open to the public, or other events that do not focus on community engagement with our officers. Due to scheduling, please submit all requests at least 30 days in advance. Late requests may not be able to be approved, and availability is not guaranteed.
