The TxDOT utility permit process is now entirely online. For information about the Utility Installation Review (UIR) system, visit: https://apps.dot.state.tx.us/uirpro/UIR_HELP/TxDOT/whnjs.htm

To utilize the system for projects in the City of College Station, contact Development Engineering to get set up as a User. Once set up, you'll receive an email from the City of College Station with your username and an email from TxDOT with your password. Just follow the instructions in the TxDOT email or Click Here. Once you have logged, click on "New Request" on the left hand side of the page and fill out your application. When you have completed the online permit application process, please notify Development Engineering via email so the permit can be submitted. The system only allows for the City to be the administrator and for consulting firms to be users, which is why the City submits the permit once you have completed it.
