College Station athletics encourages and promotes healthy families and communities by placing a priority on involvement, teamwork and healthy competition. We offer a wide variety of sports leagues and instructional classes throughout the year for all ages and abilities, from recreational to competitive.

Parents and friends of youth athletes are encouraged to be more than mere spectators, by contributing their time as volunteer coaches.

    FOOTBALL SKILLS CAMP • REGISTRATION: APRIL 4-JUNE 20
    Learn the importance of catching, throwing, and running with the football. In addition, coaches emphasize teamwork, consideration of others, self-discipline, and how to attain your potential in sports and life. As a result, campers become better football players while developing positive attitudes. Caretakers for 3-5-year-olds must stay for the camp’s duration, and caretakers for 6-13-year-olds are encouraged to join them.

    Everyone should experience the substantial benefits of recreational sports, regardless of physical or developmental challenges. Challenger bowling provides an opportunity to build confidence and self-esteem for those with special needs. Participants learn skills and challenge themselves in a fun, positive program tailored specifically to their needs.

    BASKETBALL SKILLS CAMP • REGISTRATION: APRIL 4-JUNE 27
    Campers develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills, and enhance their skill sets at the post, wing, or guard positions. Coaches emphasize fundamentals, team play, and basketball IQ, along with an in-depth analysis of conditioning and footwork. In addition, campers fine-tune shooting techniques, ball-handling skills, and team play tactics while developing positive attitudes. Caretakers for 3-5-year-olds must stay for the camp’s duration, and caretakers for 6-13-year-olds are encouraged to join them.

    7-ON-7 FOOTBALL • REGISTRATION: JUNE 6-AUG. 28
    Non-contact 7-on-7 football provides a fun and exciting opportunity for continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. Players are placed on teams and gain experience on offense and defense. The pre-draft workout will take place on Monday, Aug. 29.

    FUNDAMENTAL FIELD HOCKEY • REGISTRATION: JUNE 6-AUG. 31
    FUNdamental Field Hockey introduces participants to the game by engaging them in core concepts, rules, skills, and strategy. The six-week program is taught by a former college player with coaching experience at the high school and college levels. Equipment is provided, cleats and shin guards are recommended, and mouth guards are required.

    ADULT PROGRAMS

    SOFTBALL LEAGUE • REGISTRATION: JUNE 6-AUG. 21 • Late Registration ($20 late fee): Aug. 22-28
    Men’s and coed divisions are offered in the spring, summer, and fall. Nights of play are determined by registered division. Coed teams consist of at least four females and six males with a maximum roster of 20 players.

    Ages 18+ • $410/team • Mon., Tue., Wed., or Thu. • Sept. 6-Nov. 17 • 6:30-10:30 p.m. • Veterans Park & Athletic Complex

    KICKBALL LEAGUE • REGISTRATION: JUNE 6-AUG. 21 • Late Registration ($20 late fee): Aug. 22-28
    Teams consist of 10-20 players with a minimum roster of four females and six males. The league uses an 8½-inch kickball.

    VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE • REGISTRATION: JUNE 6-AUG. 21 • Late Registration ($20 late fee): Aug. 22-28
    Recreation and competitive divisions are offered in the spring and fall. Teams may choose to play on Tuesday or Thursday nights. The eight-game round-robin schedule concludes with a tournament. No more than three males or four females can be on the court per team.
