The City of College Station Parks and Recreation Department offers RV owners an accessible way to enjoy College Station and a place to call home during designated weekends. Campers will be able to enjoy convenient access to shopping, dining and Texas A&M University.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-In: 10 a.m. on Friday (or Wednesday if the game is on a Thursday) Check-Out: 3 p.m. on Sunday (or Friday if the game is on a Thursday) All RV camping and car parking spaces must be vacated by 3 p.m. on Thursday/Sunday, regardless of actual arrival time/date. RV’s and vehicles not removed by check-out time are subject to fines and immediate towing, at RV/vehicle owner’s sole expense.

Rental Information

RESERVATIONS
Reservation requests are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Submittal of application does not guarantee availability for the types(s) and date(s) requested. Completed forms can be submitted in-person to the College Station Parks and Recreation Department, located at 1000 Krenek Tap Road, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. or by emailing [email protected]. Reservations must be secured with a credit card and payment must be made in full at the time of the reservation. For more information, call 979.764.3486.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Cancellation refunds more than 10 days: If the rental is cancelled, in writing, at least 10 days in advance of the originally scheduled date, a full refund of fees and deposits, including security deposit, will be returned to customer.

Cancellation refunds less than 10 days: If the rental is cancelled, in writing, less than 10 days but more than 48 hours in advance of the originally scheduled date, deposits, including security deposits, will be forfeited by the customer in favor of the city.

Cancellation refunds less than 48 hours: If the rental is cancelled, in writing, less than 48 hours in advance of the originally scheduled date, all fees and deposits, including security deposits, will be forfeited by the customer in favor of the city.

Cancellation due to inclement weather: At the sole discretion of the city, if the event cannot be held or rescheduled due to inclement weather, fees and deposits, including security deposit shall be refunded to customer.

Deposit refund post event: If the facility is left to standard and required keys (if applicable) are returned within 24 hours, the customer’s deposit will be refunded.

All refunds are processed within 30 days of request by check. No cash refunds will be issued.

WEATHER CONTINGENCY
In the event of severe weather, the City of College Station reserves the right to close W.A. Tarrow Park (Wayne Smith Ballfields).

RULES & REGULATIONS
All RV permitted camping areas are available only on designated weekends and have a two-night maximum. RV Camping is allowed only in designated areas and only by paid permit obtained at the College Station Parks and Recreation Department. TENT CAMPING IS PROHIBITED. No RV camping permit will be issued to a minor.

QUIET HOURS (NOISE CURFEW) ARE FROM 11 P.M.-6 A.M.
The close configuration of RV camping spaces requires that guests be good neighbors and conduct themselves in a manner that provides for the comfort and enjoyment of all. Part of being a good neighbor means minimizing noise and disruption of others.

Permits issued by the City of College Station shall be displayed and remain visible on the RV and any additional vehicles at all times.

Parking space is limited. One vehicle with a motor home or one pickup/towing vehicle with a trailer or fifth wheel will be permitted. If available, additional parking space permits may be purchased.

Pets are allowed but must be kept quiet and on a leash at all times when outside. Please dispose of animal waste properly.

Campers are responsible for keeping rented spaces clean and free of trash and debris. Dispose of trash in sealed plastic bags placed into the provided dumpsters.

Camp stoves and BBQ grills are permitted at campsites. Above ground fire rings/tables with screens are permitted unless Brazos County is under a burn ban. Fires must not be left unattended. Extinguish fires completely before leaving. No person shall at any time burn trash, brush or other refuse within the Park.

No firearms, air guns, or fireworks may be discharged in the park. No solicitors, vendors, or peddlers are allowed without written consent and City of College Station vendor permits.

No person shall destroy or remove any timber, wood, sticks, shrubs, vegetation, rock, sand, gravel, caliche, or any other substance, material or geologic feature from the park. Trimming wood from trees and gathering wood is strictly prohibited and will result in fines and forfeiture of camping fees.

All sidewalks, drive lanes, and fire lanes must be kept clear of all generators, cords, hoses, satellite dishes, equipment, and vehicles. Improperly parked vehicles will be ticketed and towed at vehicle owner’s expense.
Children must be supervised at all times.

THERE ARE NO GRAY WATER AND NO SEWER DISCHARGE/DUMP FACILITIES IN THE PARK. Gray water/solid waste may NOT be disposed of anywhere in the park and shall be hauled out. No wastewater, sewage, or effluent from holding tanks, sinks, toilets or other plumbing fixtures is to be discharged in the park under any circumstances. Failure to observe this policy shall result in immediate reservation cancellation, forfeiture of any rental paid, removal from the park, the issuance of fines and criminal citations pursuant to the City of College Station Ordinance and state law, and subject any violator to arrest.

The City of College Station is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal property, personal injury, personal safety, or any damages from any cause. Please secure all property and lock RV’s. All campers and guests assume all risks associated with usage of the park.

The City of College Station reserves the right to refuse service to or immediately remove from the Park anyone, at any time for inappropriate behavior, threats of violence, any violation of City of College Station ordinances, state law, or failure to follow any of the above-mentioned rules and policies.
