FULL-DAY SUMMER CAMP • SESSIONS ARE FULL, WAITLIST ONLY
The camp offers kids ages 6-15 daily outdoor recreation, performing and creative arts, character and team-building exercises, local and out-of-town field trips, and more. Breakfast and lunch are provided, but campers are asked to bring a morning and afternoon snack. Registration is in-person at the Lincoln Recreation Center. Limited spots are available. Parent orientation for first-time campers is on Tuesday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m. Camp will not be held June 20 or June 27-July 4.

OKINAWAN KARATE • REGISTRATION THROUGH FIRST CLASS DAY
Martial arts develop discipline, self-defense skills, and proper judgment about when to use those skills. The non-contact training program emphasizes the traditions of Karate-Do (the way of karate). Instructor Chiyo Spaulding is a former AAU national champion and has taught martial arts to children for 20 years, producing several nationally ranked competitors. Caregivers are welcome to enroll with children. We won't have a camp on June 20.

Campers develop athletically through speed and agility training in a positive environment. Coaches emphasize conditioning, footwork, strength, and forming positive attitudes. Caretakers for 3-5-year-olds must stay for the camp’s duration, and caretakers for 6-13-year-olds are encouraged to join them.

SUMMER LUAU
Hula on over for the summer edition of Friday Night Live to enjoy a luau featuring food, music, and games. Hawaiian-themed items will be given out, and we encourage Hawaiian shirts and hula skirts. Admission is $1 per person, with space limited to 50 people.

BASKETBALL SKILLS CAMP • REGISTRATION: APRIL 4-JUNE 27
Campers develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills, and enhance their skill sets at the post, wing, or guard positions. Coaches emphasize fundamentals, team play, and basketball IQ, along with an in-depth analysis of conditioning and footwork. In addition, campers fine-tune shooting techniques, ball-handling skills, and team play tactics while developing positive attitudes. Caretakers for 3-5-year-olds must stay for the camp’s duration, and caretakers for 6-13-year-olds are encouraged to join them.

Guided by well-trained staff, kids ages 6-15 engage in games, sports, arts, and crafts -- and have time for homework. Transportation is provided from South Knoll, College Hills, Rock Prairie, Southwood Valley, River Bend, Oakwood Intermediate, Cypress Grove Intermediate, A&M Consolidated Middle School, and International Leadership of Texas for those who have paid the appropriate semester fee and signed a waiver.
