Request a Birth or Death Certificate

The City of College Station Vital Records office is responsible for ensuring that birth and death records in College Station are registered and filed with the Texas Department of State Health Services Vital Statistics Unit. Vital records are confidential and may only be obtained by the person named on the record or by a qualified applicant who provides acceptable identification.

Long-form birth certificates before 1987 and death certificates before 1990 can be obtained at the Brazos County Clerks Office at 300 E 26th Ste. 120 in Bryan. Phone: 979.361.4528

HOURS OF OPERATION

Applications for birth and death certificates are accepted Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Vital Records office will remain open from 4-5 p.m. to answer questions.

Abstract birth certificates will be issued for anyone born outside of College Station.

The City of College Station Vital Records office has an online ordering service. Please do not use Safari web browser

If a placed order results with No Record Found, the customer will be refunded the shipping fee and their order will be processed as a Search.

Will Call orders will be processed within two hours from the time the order is received in our office.

Include a photocopy of your valid photo ID, notarized application, and check or money order for the appropriate amount when sending in your request. Checks or money orders need to be made payable to the City of College Station.
