City Hall

Last item for navigation

The three-floor, nearly 80,000-square-foot facility was dedicated on Dec. 7. The new City Hall has architectural features, finishes, and furnishings that link to College Station’s beginnings as a railroad depot and postal stop located next to the A&M College of Texas. Among the elements that will make our citizens’ experience easier are more city departments under a single roof, a large city council chamber that can accommodate nearly 200 people, and the 1,200-square-foot Bush 4141 Community Room that can be reserved for a variety of functions — even after business hours.

The old city hall will be razed in the coming months.

To allow staff to transition to their new office space, the following closures will occur:

City Secretary's Office will close at 11 a.m. and Community Services at noon on Thursday, Dec. 9.

City Hall will be closed for business on Friday, Dec. 10 and Monday, Dec. 13.

Business will resume as normal in the new building on Tuesday, Dec. 14.
