Adam FalcoAdam C. Falco

City Attorney

Adam C. Falco is College Station’s City Attorney. He is the chief legal advisor, attorney, and counsel for the City. While working for College Station Adam has focused on public safety, litigation, prosecution, contracts, code enforcement, emergency management, and technology. Adam graduated from Texas A&M University in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and he earned his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2006. Adam was licensed in 2006 and started working for College Station in 2007 as the municipal prosecutor, was promoted to Senior Assistant in 2009 and appointed by the City Council to City Attorney in 2022. Adam is active in serving the State Bar of Texas and was a member of LeadershipSBOT, the past president and officer of the Law Focused Education Committee and the current Vice President and board member of Law Focused Education, Inc.


Leslie WhittenLeslie A. Whitten

Deputy City Attorney

Leslie A. Whitten is the Deputy City Attorney for the College Station City Attorney’s Office and provides legal advice to the City’s Planning & Development Services, Fiscal Services, Risk Management, and City Secretary’s Office. Leslie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ouachita Baptist University, a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Henderson State University, and a Juris Doctor from Baylor School of Law. Leslie joined the City Attorney’s Office in 2014.


John A. HaisletJohn A. Haislet

Senior Assistant City Attorney II

John A. Haislet is a Senior Assistant City Attorney II for the City of College Station City Attorney’s Office and provides legal advice to the City’s Electric, Water and Wastewater utilities, Public Works Department, Capital Projects, and in the areas of real estate, land acquisition, regulation of third-party telecoms, right-of-way usage, oil and gas operations, pipelines, and various municipal franchises. John graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, earned a Master of Arts in Legal Studies from Texas State University in 2009, and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2009. John has been licensed in Texas since 2009 and previously worked for the City of Tyler City Attorney’s Office before joining the City Attorney’s Office in 2011.


Aaron R. LongoriaAaron R. Longoria

Assistant City Attorney II

Aaron R. Longoria is an Assistant City Attorney II for the College Station City Attorney’s Office and provides legal advice to the City’s Planning & Development Services, Economic Development, Tourism, Parks & Recreation, and Information Technology Department. Aaron graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 with a B.B.A. in Finance and earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in in 2011. Aaron has been licensed since 2011 and was General Counsel for a real estate development company before joining the City Attorney’s Office in 2023.


David A. PurnellDavid A. Purnell

Assistant Attorney I

David A. Purnell is an Assistant Attorney I for the City of College Station City Attorney’s Office. As the Municipal Prosecutor, David is assigned to duties involving the enforcement of municipal ordinance violations and Class C Misdemeanors for the City of College Station. David also provides legal advice regarding code enforcement and prosecution. David graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2011 and earned his Juris Doctor from The University of Houston Law Center in 2016. David has been licensed since 2016 and practiced at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office, and the Municipal Prosecution Section for the City of Houston. David joined the City Attorney’s Office in 2023.
