A key regulation is the requirement that most construction activities within the City must obtain a Drainage Development Permit prior to start of work. This permit process exists to ensure that proposed development will not increase the danger of flooding, and will not allow the migration of dust, mud or silt from the construction site.
Applicants must submit detailed information regarding the work proposed, and the measures to be used to prevent offsite siltation, for review and approval.
