WEEKLY ACTIVITIES 
Below programs are free to those with a facility membership.

OPEN COMPUTER LAB
Utilize the computer lab whenever a computer class is not in session.

Ages 55+ • Membership • Mon.-Fri. • Weekly • 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

SIT & FIT
A gentle exercise that features fat-burning aerobics and weight lifting while using a chair for support.

Ages 55+ • Membership • Mon., Tue., Thu. & Fri. • Weekly • 12-1 p.m.

FOREVERSIZE
This class is specifically designed to encourage individuals to adopt healthy lifestyle practices. We provide exercise and nutrition information during class.

CLASSIC COUNTRY AND BLUEGRASS JAM SESSION
All musicians, regardless of experience level, are welcome to join. Country and bluegrass music fans are also encouraged to attend.

GAME NIGHT
Enjoy an evening of dominoes, cornhole, cards, board games and table tennis.

JAMBOREE LINE DANCING
Experienced and advanced line dancers meet to learn new dances.

HAND & FOOT CANASTA
All levels are invited learn how to play this fun card game.

MAH JONGG
Mah Jongg is a game of skill, strategy and calculation. This beginner’s class will teach the basics of the game. *Starting June 5, the program will also meet on Wednesdays.

COLORED PENCIL DRAWING CLASS & MORE
Learn how to draw with colored pencils from Ann Walton an award-winning and certified Texas Art Teacher.

LINE DANCING
Looking for a fun way to exercise? Try line dancing to the hottest tunes and enjoy a low-impact, aerobic workout.

BEGINNER MIXED MARTIAL ARTS & SELF DEFENSE FOR SENIORS • REGISTRATION REQUIRED
This class is designed for beginners and focuses on Taekwondo and Jujitsu principles. Participants are encouraged to wear loose clothing, tennis or water shoes. Class size is limited. Register for by calling 979.764.6351 or emailing kpeterson@cstx.gov.

EXPLORING HISTORY LUNCHEONS • REGISTRATION REQUIRED
College Station’s Historic Preservation Committee and Parks and Recreation Department present monthly lectures over our community’s history. Reservations are required and are due the Friday before the luncheon. Call 979.764.6351 or email kpeterson@cstx.gov to reserve your spot.

CHRONIC PAIN SELF-MANAGEMENT • REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Join us for the Active for Life Chronic Pain Self-Management class series. These workshops complement clinical care and are recommended by the Centers for Disease Control. Topics include fatigue management, pacing and planning activity, getting a good night’s sleep, better breathing and much more. Space is limited. SENIOR WORLD PASSPORT PROGRAM
Explore different countries and cultures. Each session will feature a country with typical foods to sample and learn interesting facts.

POTLUCK & PIZZA SOCIAL
Enjoy pizza, good food and music by the Classic Country & Bluegrass Jam Session Musicians. Bring your favorite dish to share with others. Live music starts at 1 p.m.

SPRING DANCES
Enjoy an evening of dancing with a live DJ. Dances are held monthly with door prizes and light refreshments served. No registration needed.

WATERMELON SOCIAL WITH COLLEGE STATION FIRE DEPARTMENT
Cool off with free watermelon and learn important safety tips from the College Station Fire Department.

ICE CREAM SOCIAL WITH COLLEGE STATION POLICE DEPARTMENT
The College Station Police Department’s Community Enhancement Unit will share safety tips and awareness of the latest scams targeting the senior adult population.
