Deacon-General Parkway changes to 2-way stop to improve traffic flow

The Deacon Drive-General Parkway intersection in the Barracks has changed from four-way to two-way stop-controlled. Stop signs remain on General Parkway, but traffic on Deacon is no longer required to stop at the intersection.

The change was made to improve traffic flow and mitigate the safety risk of traffic backing up from the intersection to the railroad. Drivers should approach the intersection with caution as traffic patterns adjust.
