Southwood Community Center to close for repairs

The Southwood Community Center will be closed from repairs until late fall starting Thursday, Aug. 1. The facility was damaged extensively by water leaks after heavy rains earlier this year.

“We apologize for the inconvenience the closure causes for those who participate in the Southwood Community Center’s programs, but safety is always our top priority,” Parks and Recreation manager Ana Romero said.
