Citizens Police Academy (CPA) is an interactive program designed to offer citizens an inside look at their local police department and the criminal justice system. This program allows citizens and police officers to interact in a positive and proactive setting.

Sessions are typically held on Tuesday nights at the College Station Police Department from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for 12 weeks each spring and fall. In order to graduate with a certificate, participants cannot miss more than two sessions. The academy is free of charge and supplies are not required.

The 67th Citizens Police Academy is scheduled for Fall 2024.

Please complete the application below if you'd like to participate in our next (or a future) CPA.

Note: This is NOT the actual police academy to become a police officer.
