The College Station Police Department is fortunate to have several wonderful volunteers that give of their time and talent to help us accomplish our mission. Our volunteers work at the Department in a variety of capacities, based on their preference and expertise.
Some of the current volunteer positions include the following areas:
- Accreditation: Assists in the documentation of best practices, works with focus groups to improve service delivery.
- Administration: Volunteer Coordinator Assistants help manage the day-to-day operations of the Volunteer and Intern Program.
- Administration: Updates and maintains the Department’s personnel files and assists with special events.
- Chaplains: Licensed Clergy assist with delivering death messages and provide spiritual assistance to Departmental personnel.
- Criminal Investigations: Supervises the CID Interns and assists detectives with clerical and analytical support of assigned cases.
- VEST: Assist with logistics and provide support to personnel at major crime scenes and at signature events.
