FY21 Budget Public Hearing Notice

The City Council of the City of College Station will hold a public hearing on its proposed fiscal year 2020-2021 annual budget at its regular council meeting on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 6:00 p.m., in the City Council Chambers at the City of College Station City Hall, 1101 Texas Avenue, College Station, Texas or via Zoom.

Copies of the proposed budget are available for review with the City Secretary of the City of College Station, at the Ringer Library, and on the City’s website at cstx.gov. The public is invited to review and make comments on the proposed budget.

Comments may be presented in writing or in person at the public hearing or may be made in writing to be mailed or delivered to the Assistant City Manager, College Station City Hall, 1101 Texas Avenue, College Station, Texas, 77842, prior to the end of business on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR'S BUDGET BY $951,008* OR 1.8%*, AND OF THAT AMOUNT, $834,893* IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR. *estimated
