College Station athletics encourages and promotes healthy families and communities by placing a priority on involvement, teamwork and healthy competition. We offer a wide variety of sports leagues and instructional classes throughout the year for all ages and abilities, from recreational to competitive.

Parents and friends of youth athletes are encouraged to be more than mere spectators, by contributing their time as volunteer coaches.

    FOOTBALL SKILLS CAMP • REGISTRATION: APRIL 3-JUNE 18
    Learn the importance of catching, throwing, and running with a football. Coaches emphasize teamwork, consideration of others, self-discipline, and how to attain your potential in sports and life. As a result, campers become better football players while developing positive attitudes. Caretakers for 3-5-year-olds must stay for the camp’s duration, and caretakers for 6-13-year-olds are encouraged to join them.

    Everyone should experience the significant benefits of recreational sports, regardless of physical or developmental challenges. Challenger bowling helps build confidence and self-esteem for those with special needs. Participants learn skills and challenge themselves in a fun, positive program tailored to their needs.

    Campers develop athleticism, refine fundamental skills, and enhance their skill sets at all positions. Coaches emphasize fundamentals, team play, basketball IQ, and provide an in-depth analysis of conditioning and footwork. Campers also fine-tune shooting techniques, ball-handling skills, and team play tactics while developing positive attitudes. Caretakers for 3-5-year-olds must stay for the camp’s duration, and caretakers for 6-13-year-olds are encouraged to join them.

    Non-contact 7-on-7 football provides a fun and exciting opportunity for continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. Players are drafted by teams and gain experience on offense and defense. The pre-draft workout is Monday. Aug. 28.

    The class is a fun, active introduction to tennis. Players learn basic tennis strokes, scoring, and strategy. Participants also engage in fun games throughout each session to increase their enjoyment.

    ROUND-ROBIN TENNIS LEAGUE • REGISTRATION: APRIL 3-JUNE 9
    The league is for adults comfortable with match play and interested in competing in a lively social setting. Players are guaranteed a doubles set (six-game, no-ad scoring) and single set (six-game, no-ad scoring) each week in a round-robin format, allowing competitors to face new opponents constantly.

    Men's and coed divisions are offered in the spring, summer, and fall. Nights of play are determined by registered division. Coed teams consist of at least four females and six males with a maximum roster of 20 players.

    KICKBALL LEAGUE • REGISTRATION: JUNE 5-AUG. 20 • Late Registration ($20 late fee): Aug. 21-27
    Teams have 10-20 players with a minimum roster of four females and six males. The league uses an 8½-inch kickball.

    VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE • REGISTRATION: JUNE 5-AUG. 20 • Late Registration ($20 late fee): Aug. 21-27
    Coed volleyball divisions are offered in the fall and spring. Teams may choose to play on Tuesday or Thursday nights, and no more than three men or four women can be on the court per team. Teams are assigned a division based on the registration questionnaire and previous league performance.

    ULTIMATE FRISBEE LEAGUE • REGISTRATION: JUNE 5-SEPT. 19
    BCS Ultimate runs the coed league. Individual or team registration is available, and team rosters may include up to 12 players. Teams field five men and two women at a time. Each team plays two games per night, with the first game starting at 6:30 p.m. Games are played on a 70x40-yard field and follow USA Ultimate rules. Individuals participate in an evaluation night, followed by a draft.
