    GARAGE PARKING
The College Main Parking Garage, located at 309 College Main Ave., is your best bet for affordable, long-term parking and is open 24 hours every day. The garage only accepts Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit/debit cards. It does not accept American Express or any form of cash/coin.

    COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I use ParkMobile if I don't have a smartphone?
Yes. As long as you have a cell phone, you can call into the interactive voice response (IVR) service and set up an account. Once you have an account with ParkMobile, you can call the number posted on the stickers and signs around the parking spot and make a parking payment over the phone.

How will enforcement officers know I've paid for my parking session?
Once you have started a parking session, ParkMobile will record that information in our system and make it visible to the enforcement officers on site. Enforcement officers will use a handheld device to look up your zone number, space number (if needed), and license plate number to confirm that you have paid for parking. That is why it is always important to verify your license plate in the app before you start the parking session.

I forgot where I parked. Can ParkMobile help me find my car?
On the screen with your active parking session, you will see a link that says, "Find My Car." Touch that link, and it will navigate you back to the zone number where your car is parked.

Can I extend my parking time?
You can extend your parking time up to the maximum allowed for the parking spot. For example, if you are parking in a spot that allows for a maximum of 2 hours of parking, you can pay for one hour, then extend up to an additional hour. You cannot extend past the maximum time allowed. In the app, a countdown timer shows time remaining in parking session and displays your session details.

    DELIVERIES & LOADING ZONES
Northgate represents a unique mix of retail establishments, bars, restaurants, residential, and places of worship located close together, creating nearly around-the-clock activity. Given this unique mix of uses and the urban nature of Northgate, deliveries can pose a real challenge. Whether you work for a delivery company, a distributor, or a Northgate merchant, here are some tips for making your job a little easier:

    • There are several designated loading zones in Northgate. Please pay close attention to the signage associated with the loading zones on Patricia, First, and Boyett Streets as well as the loading zone on University Drive. There is also a loading zone in the surface parking lot. Note that some of these areas also serve as public parking spaces for part of the day. Again, please pay close attention to the signage!

    • The city also allows the fire lane located south of the surface lot to be used as loading zones as long as the vehicle is occupied at all times. Unattended vehicles in the fire lane will receive a citation.

    • When utilizing the fire lanes as a loading zone, delivery vehicles should avoid blocking other vehicles.

    • Vehicles operated by sales personnel are not allowed in loading zones. There are numerous free two-hour parking spaces in Northgate. (see map for location) Please utilize these spaces or park in a metered space when making sales calls.

    • Loading and unloading should be done as quickly as possible.

    • If possible, try to avoid large deliveries during peak times - deliveries made during the evening rush hours and during lunch time will tie up customer traffic unnecessarily.

    • Parking, loading, or unloading in a designated bike lane is not permitted. Bike lanes must remain clear of vehicles at all times.

    • Even if you are loading and unloading, if you park in a metered space, you must pay the meter.
    NORTHGATE FOOD SALES

    Northgate Food Sales

The City of College Station has designated a green space outside of Logie’s as the sole city-owned location for organizations to engage in temporary sales (such as bake sales or other fundraising activities) in the Northgate area. Any organization wishing to engage in sales on public property in the Northgate area must seek prior written approval. Requests will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis to one organization per night. Any organization without prior approval will be asked to leave the area.

Private business owners may grant permission for temporary sales to occur on their own property, but organizations will still need to be able to present written permission from the owner/management if asked. Additionally, these sales must truly take place on the private property and not adjacent public property (such as sidewalks).

To submit your date of preference for your organization’s food sales please click the Northgate Food Sales button below. To view the rules for those participating in a food sale at the City’s Northgate Location see the guidelines below. For more information, please contact the Barbara Moore at [email protected]
