The City of College Station will proclaim “Aiden Ross Day” in honor of “The Voice” champion at a special community celebration at Visit College Station (1207 Texas Ave.) from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 20. Admission and parking are free. The College Station native was crowned the winner of NBC’s popular series on Dec. 16.
The College Station Parks and Recreation Department invites you to celebrate Dr. King’s legacy through music, dance, and community spirit at the 42nd Annual Keeping the Dream Alive Musical Celebration at the Lincoln Recreation Center on Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Admission is free.
On Saturday, the northbound lane of Marion Pugh will be closed from George Bush Drive to south of Luther Street as the first phase of the roadway rehabilitation begins. The Luther Street intersection will be closed. Construction on Phase One is expected to take about eight months.
