The Bluebonnet Street Rod Car Club from the College Station - Bryan area holds a Rod Run each June in College Station Stephen C. Beachy Central Park. The event is open to all cars of all types. The event draws street rods, antiques, muscle cars, trucks, and show cars from around the state.
Typically 200 or more cars will register for the event, which benefits local charities, however that number continues to grow each year. The event is co-sponsored by the City of College Station and is supported by many local businesses.
An oldies concert is traditionally held at the Wolf Pen Creek Amphitheater in conjunction with the Rod Run.
