Enjoy fishing, but don’t know where to go in town? You’re in luck! The following are City of College Station ponds that you can fish at:
City ponds have a limit of five fish per day for each species of catfish, bass and trout.
Anyone over the age of 17 is required to have a current fishing license with a freshwater stamp. Those under 17 do not need one. Contact the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for other regulations pertaining to fishing City ponds or in regards to special fishing license regulations.
When fishing at City ponds, please remember to discard all litter into the trash receptacles.
Stephen C. Beachy Central Park Pond, located at 1000 Krenek Tap Road, is stocked by Texas Parks & Wildlife Department with catfish every two weeks from late April thru early November, except during August. It is also stocked with trout every two weeks from December thru early March. The site is safe and well-maintained with excellent bank access, adequate parking and restrooms.
