The City of College Station is offering FREE Bike Classes to help you gain the confidence you need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail. Participants will learn how to conduct bicycle safety checks, fix a flat, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques. The curriculum blends classroom instruction, parking lot practice and on-road riding in traffic. *Anyone over the age of 14 can participate. A bicycle in working condition, and helmet are required.

Classes are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturdays, and are held at 958 Agronomy Road. Choose from one of the following dates: 

  • April 1st
  • May 6th

Registration Policy: Advance registration is required. Registration closes at noon the day before the event.

Class Size: Minimum of 2 participants and a max of 8.

* Participants between 14 and 16 years of age must attend with a legal guardian who must also participate.

The class is typically lead by at least one instructor who is certified with the League of American Bicyclists.
