SUMMER YOUTH BASKETBALL
Youth Basketball provides a fun and exciting opportunity to learn basic skills, teamwork, and training for the next level. The format is a six-game, round-robin schedule with a single elimination tournament at the end. Each player should accumulate a minimum of two quarters of playing time for each game they attend. Practice and games will be Tuesdays and Thursdays..

JUNIOR BEGINNER TENNIS
Players will learn the basics of the forehand, backhand, serve, and volley in a fast-paced, interactive manner. The last session will include a game night for participants to play games and win prizes. Participants will receive a shirt. No classes July 2-6.

JUNIOR INTERMEDIATE TENNIS
This program is for players who have received prior instruction on basic strokes by a tennis professional. Players will focus on static and live-ball drills for singles and doubles play. The last session will include a game night and a chance to win prizes. Participants will receive a shirt. No classes July 2-6.

HIGH-PERFORMANCE TENNIS ACADEMY
This is for competitive players who are playing in varsity high school, ZAT, Champ, and Super Champ tournaments in Texas. It’s designed to enhance the technical, strategic and physical capabilities of each player through live-ball drills, match play, and conditioning. This Academy is overseen by a USPTA certified professional who has 20 years of experience playing tennis at the qualified USTA junior and NCAA collegiate levels. Participants will receive a shirt. No classes July 2-6.

CHALLENGER SPORTS
The City of College Station believes everyone should experience the compelling benefits of recreational sports, regardless of physical or developmental challenges. Challenger Sports provides that opportunity. The programs are designed to build confidence and self-esteem for those with special needs in a fun, positive environment. Participants learn skills and challenge themselves in a program tailored specifically to their needs. They are paired with volunteers from Project Sunshine, whose goal is “to build friendships while bringing smiles to children’s faces.” Participants sometimes stay in the program for many years, developing lasting friendships with fellow participants, staff and Project Sunshine volunteers.

FLAG FOOTBALL
Flag Football provides players a fun and exciting opportunity to engage in non-contact, continuous action while learning lessons in teamwork. The format is a round-robin schedule with a tournament at the end of the season. Each player should accumulate a minimum of two quarters of playing time for each game they attend.

START SMART FOOTBALL
Start Smart football introduces 3-6 year-olds to football through a step-by-step approach that builds confidence and self-esteem in a fun, positive environment. As the program progresses and players show improvement, skills are altered so each player remains challenged. Parents get to spend quality time with their child while learning how to properly teach and support them in sports.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
The Girls Volleyball League introduces players to volleyball while providing a safe, fun environment to learn the basic premises of the game through practices, fundamental skills, ethics and league competition. The format is an eight-game round-robin schedule. Players are guaranteed to play at least half of each match.
