With 52 developed parks, College Station Parks and Recreation's fun-filled amenities are right next door. Relax by one of our pools, jog through one of our nature trails, or get involved in one of our sports or community programs. There's something for everyone!

T.A.A.F. GAMES OF TEXAS -- CLOSURES
The Games of Texas is an annual event that is governed by the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation, a non-profit organization representing municipal park and recreation departments and related organizations throughout the state.

The City of College Station in collaboration with the City of Bryan and Texas A&M University will host the 2014 games, July 31- Aug. 4. with a total of 10 sport venues including; archery, disc golf, lifeguard training competition, skateboarding, golf, boxing, soccer, swimming, tennis and track & field.

To accomodate the Games of Texas, the following College Station facilities will be closed:

  • Adamson Lagoon & Thomas Pool: Closed July 31- Aug. 3
  • Lincoln Recreation Center Youth Program: Closed July 31- Aug. 1
