The Public Education branch of the Fire Marshal’s Office develops and delivers fire prevention and safety education programs to reduce preventable injuries and the loss of life, particularly among the very young and older adults.
Public Education programs are offered through presentations, media campaigns, and smoke alarm installations. Additionally, the Public Education Officer coordinates volunteer opportunities and victim assistance services for our residents before, during, and after an emergency.
