We have three member and two alternate openings. The alternates are citizens at large and the open board member descriptions are for:
• An architect, previously registered architect, architect registered in another state, or Emeritus Architect.
• A landscape architect, previously registered landscape architect, landscape architect registered in another state, or Emeritus Landscape Architect.
• Developer, land owner, or business owner in a design district, a resident within a design district, or an individual employed within a design district.
To apply for service, you must be a resident and a qualified, registered voter of College Station. Members serve without monetary compensation.
Deadline to apply is Friday, July 22.

The Design Review Board hears and takes action on design district site plans and concept plans for Planned Development Districts (PDD) and Planned Mix-Use Districts (P-MUD). Other duties as outlined in ordinance.

On call by the Board Chairman.
Membership & Terms:
The board shall consist of seven regular members and two alternate members. Six of the regular members and the two alternates shall be appointed by City Council. The seventh regular member shall be the Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission or his designees. Members shall be qualified residents and voters of the City of College Station. Members shall serve two-year terms. Council shall appoint the following to the Design Review Board:
A) Registered Architect
B) Business Person
C) Landscape Architect
D) Developer or land owner in a design district
E) Person knowledgeable in aesthetic judgment
Of the members listed above, at least two shall be owners of property or a business within a design district, a resident within a design district, or an individual employed within a design district.
