Burglary of a Vehicle ARRESTS 14-008792

08/11/14 News Release: Burglary of Vehicle 14-008792

On 08/11/14 at approximately 0125 hours CSPD officers received a report of a burglary of a vehicle that had just occurred. The victim was able to give a partial description of the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle. Officers responded to the area to look for the suspect but did not locate him. A short time later an officer recognized a vehicle that matched the description given by the victim. Upon making contact with the occupants it was determined they were the suspects involved in the burglary of a vehicle. The property removed from the victim’s vehicle was recovered. Both occupants were taken into custody.

Arrested: Anthony Mendoza, 19yrs old, Houston resident
Charges: Burglary of a vehicle (misdemeanor A)

Arrested: Miguel Nava, 20yrs old, Houston resident
Charges: Burglary of a vehicle (misdemeanor A)
Possession of Controlled Substance PG2A < 2oz (misdemeanor B)
Possession of Marijuana < 2oz misdemeanor B)
