August 8, 2014 - News: Major Crash (Fatality)
As part of the on-going investigation into this incident, officers with the College Station Police Department Traffic Unit will be working to reconstruct the traffic crash that occurred on August 6th near the intersection of Harvey Mitchell Parkway.
To safely facilitate this reconstruction, Harvey Mitchell Parkway will be closed to all traffic between George Bush Drive and Luther Street West starting at approximately 0600 hrs on Sunday August 10, 2014. The process should be completed and the roadway should be open by noon that same day, however delays may be possible.
Northbound traffic will be diverted onto Luther Street West and southbound traffic will be diverted onto George Bush Drive West. Motorists are asked to avoid this area as well as the George Bush/Marion Pugh/Wellborn Road area where a majority of the traffic that is diverted will pass through.
