Burglary of Habitation x 10

On Sunday at about 0136 hrs, Officers were dispatched to the area of Aspen Heights housing complex in reference to a suspicious person. The caller advised that they heard a series of loud thumps and observed a male wearing a gray hoodie walking away from a house. The subject walked around the corner then began peeking out to see if he had been observed. Officers quickly arrived in the area but were unable to locate the subject. While checking the houses for signs of forced entry, officers were able to locate six different houses where the doors had been kicked open. Officers discovered that there was extensive damage to each house including televisions, furniture, sheetrock and one house had extensive water damage to the first floor ceiling. Items were taken or destroyed in each of the six houses.
The suspect was described as a medium build male (unknown race) wearing a gray hoodie sweatshirt and blue jeans. If anyone has any information regarding these offenses, please contact College Station Police Department.
These cases are currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.
UPDATE- Throughout the day on 12/20/09, as officers investigated this case, acquired information lead to the identification of a suspect in at least ten cases of Burglary of a Habitation/Criminal Mischief in the Aspen Heights housing complex. The suspect was located in the housing complex and arrested on related charges. More charges will be sought for the suspect as the investigation continues.
Arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance was Marti Jahrel Frieson, Blinn student and Kingwood Texas resident.
